~ Information on OneDrive:
This service moves your game files out from (C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3) to where your game can't see or use them anymore. Pause syncing and then disable or uninstall OneDrive is recommended.
–– Before doing anything with OneDrive you may need to pause syncing and move the files out of OneDrive first to a usb drive, an external drive or a folder on your desktop, before disabling or Uninstalling.
If there are Sims 3 files in: (C:\Users\Username\OneDrive\Electronic Arts) back them up.
To backup your Sims 3 folder. -- Right-click on the Sims 3 folder > Select Copy/Paste to a usb drive, external drive or your desktop.
You can rename this file by right-click > Rename and rename it something like Sims3-old.
Then turn off, disable or uninstall the service. This way the game will be able to access your Sims 3 files again and won't move them.
** Uninstalling OneDrive is highly recommended, to help prevent the service from messing with your files.

Uninstall OneDrive via Control Panel:
You can uninstall OneDrive via Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features it looks like!! Here's what I copied from their help page.:
You won't lose files or data by uninstalling OneDrive from your computer. You can always access your files by signing in to OneDrive.com.
Windows 10
–-Select the Start button, type Programs in the search box, and then select Add or remove programs in the list of results.
–-Under Apps & features, find and select Microsoft OneDrive, and then select Uninstall. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
