Description:I went back and forth in wanting to share this build. The love for this build won out and am wanting to share. The floorplan of this house is a variation of a build challenge that Lapaige and I did behind the scenes. Just for us. Thank you Lapaige!! You have been such a building inspiration!!
My first build based on the floorplan was fairly tiny and I wanted to help it have more livable space. I also have a 2nd build based on the floorplan that I was experimenting with. I'm not ready to share them yet, mostly because I've got screenshots and extra builds I need to go through and delete. lol
Anyway, back to B3-B1a does not have any custom content added. However, build B1b does and it's included in the zip file. It has the ITF soil rugs cloned to custom content by me, as as well as a
veggie chest from ATS3
It also has produce from Supernatural and Grapes from World Adventure along with base game produce of various quality.
I really love how this one turned out best. It's got 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms on the main floor and a small greenhouse for gardening in the winter or year around. 2 covered decks and one that's not covered. Great for Sims who love the outdoors!! It also has various different paintings for easier transport if you decide to move to a new house, you can take them with you without the worry that they'll disappear.
Unframed paintings do not disappear as far as I can tell. You can add them to the Sims personal or family inventory and take them out again without any problems.
Ohhh... saving maybe the best tid-bit for last.... I did make this house big enough for an optional upper 2nd floor. My vision was to move the chess table some where else and add another single or double staircase in it's place. I decided against it for this build mostly because I felt I had enough room for what I wanted in the 1st floor and basement.
Can be placed on a bigger lot, so there's room for a yard, outdoor pool or whatever else you want to do with some outdoor space. lol

Installation:The lot is in .package format, and need to be placed in the Sims 3 Library folder.
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library
The lot can be found in the Show Empty Houses tab in the in-game library.
The Custom Content is in .package format as well and needs to be copied to the mods\package folder.
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder
