➥ Rule of thumb is: Use default font and default alignment, no smaller than 10pt and no larger than 12pt for the body and 18pt for headers.
Please do not modify the font, or font color. We're trying to keep the Forum tidy and consistent. This means no glow, no shadow and no marquee text. Also, please do not make the font smaller than the default 10pt. It makes posts harder to read.
The posting options are built into the forum software, and we can not remove them, just make rules against using them as they can be headache triggering to some.
✽ – Rules for photos:
– Images need to be in jpg. format and no bigger than 800 wide.
– Images need to be hosted on an image hosting site such as imgur ; ImgBB ; or PostImage and linked from the image site.
– Limit 12 photos per post (at most) to prevent overwhelming the forum's display engine. Create new post, if you want to add more photos to your thread.
✽ – Rules for the attachment system:
– Attachment limit is 5 zipped files per post, but please be reasonable in adding more attachments to additional posts. We don't want to overwhelm the server or the files taking up lots of space on the server.
✦ It's highly recommended to use online storage site, as SimFileShare, Google Drive, OneDrive, Mediafire, etc. and link back to your files if you have a lot of files you want to share at a time.
Polls and the Spoiler Tag can freely be used.
Don't abuse the formatting options. This means, don't overuse:
– ALL CAPS
– Extra-large fonts
– Repeated symbols
– Emojis
Do not troll, bait or flame. This includes deliberately trying to cause an argument by making sarcastic, off-topic, rude or disruptive posts, and discussions.
❕❕ – Inactive members who have never posted and have not visited in the last 6 months will be sent a reminder email to sign in. If not, the member will be pruned. This is to keep the user database as neat as possible.
