Smustle and Karaoke

Just out of curiosity, what do you think of the sims 3 Smustle and their karaoke.  Personally, compared to sims 2, I think the ball got dropped and they are terrible.  In Sims 2, the smustle, you can have at least 15 sims dancing the line in sync where as in 3 no sync at all.  The karaoke in 2 is just plain way better.  The voices and duets and awesome.  In Sims 3, two males singing, sounds like two females.  Ugh for me.  Probably the only 2 things that really disappointed me in Sims 3.

I love watching Sims dance, regardless if it's regular dancing or the Smustle. lol  I haven't played Sims 2 in forever, so I don't remember what Sims 2 Sims dances are like or their karaoke style.

I usually play Sims 3 with the sound off. *Blush* So I don't know what Sims 3 Sims sound like singing either.  Pretty bad I'm sure. hahaha

I heavily dislike the Smustle dance. Regardless of iteration, really.

I haven't seen them do karaoke much, so I can't say. I don't appreciate it either when sims sing.

The regular dance is also a so-so thing in my opinion. My fave is the slow dance.

Beardeux, I also play w/the sound off, but I did hear a male singer once and yeah, he sounded like a woman. You can adjust their voices in CAS though. Go to personality/favorites (heart)/sound. You can slide it to the left (bass) or right (treble).

oh good to know.  I do enjoy the club dance very much.  The only thing is the constant tripping.  If your char chooses the partner though, they won't trip, only the partner.
