I just wanted to reply to the one where your sim is "remotely" making pancakes. I had a sim do that once in my original ISBI go. The girl was way up in the front of the house "washing her dish" in the sink that was several feet away. It only happened once though.

I reset my game as MrsFlynn suggested and fixed the issue. However, I now have to rebuilt my relationships but I can use a MOD for that.

Rats I was hoping a new Sims 3 folder would help. It must be something within Origin that is making it uninstall itself.

I'm on Steam so I don't know if it's Origin or not. I don't know how all that works. Actually, it's only since I started playing on my new computer that it keeps dropping out. It was fine on my old one.

Ohhh *Blush* Sorry about that.

Hmm.. Steam shouldn't be doing that then. As I've always read that the Steam version is a lot more stable.

Well, it's been a morning. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, rinse and repeat. It tells me it's already installed but it's not in the drop-down.
I decided to check the files to see what's going on. It shows up in the Sims 3 download folder with the green icon which allows me to launch directly. When I do that it's still not in the drop-down menu.

It wasn't showing up in install worlds so I moved that file over from the SD card I have it saved on. That didn't work either. So I have to play with it some more and hopefully getting it working again.

I am totally at a loss as to what to try. Have you tried searching the Steam forums to see if anyone else is having the same issue with their Steam version?
