That's cute. Unfortunately I lost mine. Haven't even really started my day yet even though it's almost 1:30 p.m. I slept in quite late, which I rarely do so my breakfast/brunch dishes are still on the counter, my bed's not made and I'm not showered or dressed. It's time to get my act together. Maybe I'll rebuild my ranch while it's still fresh in my mind.

Update: 30 mins later, I'm showered and dressed, kitchen cleared and dishwasher running and a load of laundry in the washing machine. I'm good to go.

That sounds like my mornings. I like to get such chores out of the way, before I become glued to the computer :)

I hope you succeed in rebuilding the ranch one way or the other. Ugh, we Simmers really have to be persistent (stubborn) sometimes.

Would you mind if I tried to build your ranch in my own Riverview?

I have recreated the ranch house and I'll upload it to the forum if you want to use the shell and modify it. I'll do that tomorrow and I'll build the barn and upload that as well. It's dinnertime now. :D
Since I had breakfast/brunch so late, I didn't have any lunch so now I'm hungry.

Nindigo, I've uploaded everything to Media/Houses. One large file has the whole ranch and 2 smaller ones have the house and barn separately. They are built in Builder's Island so I don't know if you'll actually have to download that world. Let me know if it's an issue. I'm going to place them in Riverview now so I'll repost if necessary.

You're welcome. Glad it's all working, Nindgo. I used the move objects cheat to set the porch posts at the edge where they should be and not where they want to be so I don't know if you'll need to do anything with that.

I'm happy to share, ladies.

I moved the lot over to Riverview and placed it on a 55 x 55 lot near the equestrian center and made some modifications. to the house. I wanted to build a stone chimney but in the original I'd placed the house too close to the side and didn't have room to create the chimney. It's amazing how one simple thing can lead to a whole bunch of other stuff that I really didn't intend to do.

Things only try to relocate to nearest "normal" slot if I try to move them. If I don't, everything stays in place.
