~ The Purcell - Basement

Happy to report that my basement stairs placed exactly where I wanted them. This allowed space for a small powder room and in a perfect world, this would be my mudroom.

LaPaige's Porch ~ Surrey House - Part 1
« Reply #52 on: February 02, 2022, 03:36:09 PM »
Finished my house. This is, I think, a pretty good rendition of a real life house that I designed and built. Due to the game constraints (my nemesis) windows aren't correct, scale is not necessarily correct and, of course, without doing the cheat, the garage doesn't have a door. We put a suite in the basement for my son's rapidly growing family (3 kids under 2).

The pictures came off Google Maps and are from a few years after we sold it. They obviously took out some of my plantings. I had a gorgeous hydrangea in front of the porch and the house could use a paint job.  >:(

Surrey House - Part 2 - Representation of the interior.
Fake basement windows shown but the real house had real windows. :D

Mag-neat-o :)

I find myself inspired to build small, cheap houses these days. When using the NRaas Story Progession mod, NPCs are often in need of affordable homes at around 20.000 simoleons when furnished with the necessities.

It must take you a long time to plan out and build all those big, intricate houses of yours.

Thank you. My son asked if I was going to do my condo building next. That is a big "nope".

There are more than 90 units in here. I don't think there's a lot big enough. :D
