I decided to create a couple more sims based on people who live in my building. One of them is the 88 year old man who is moving down to California. Unfortunately I can't seem to make him look right, but whatever.
One problem I'm having is that many of my favorite pieces of men's wear are missing. He's a retired orthopedic surgeon and he's a pretty snappy dresser. (best shoe wardrobe I've ever seen on a man). All I'm seeing is old guy stuff.
Another issue is pretty funny actually. I have a mod that allows height adjustment. In addition to his great wardrobe, he's also probably the smallest man I've ever met. So I have adjusted his height which works just great except for one thing. The arms don't adjust to the height and his hands are almost down to his knees.
His companion is going to be Mavis. I think she's 85 and she's the same height as he is. When we go out as a group, they always sit together and he gallantly escorts her (she uses a walker most times) in and out of the restaurant, holds her arm when she's getting in and out of the car, etc. They make the cutest couple. She's really going to miss him when he moves.
I'll post pix when I've finished them. I'll have to build them a little house.
