Seems wholesome enough. At least compared to what teens do with their fathers in my AP game.

I always find it entertaining to watch public venues. And nice beach, by the way.

There is a venue from the Showtime pack that I need to go and grab. It has a mechanical bull and fits the country theme of Appaloosa Plains perfectly.

Thank you. I was just killing time when I made the beach. I'm waiting to see if/when Steam gets back to me about removing University Life and I don't want to get back into a "good" save until it's gone.

See, this is why I prefer to play via Origin. It is the easiest thing in the world to simply untick which packs I don't want to play with at any given time. I have both the Steam and Origin versions of the entire game, changed back and forth a few times, then decided to stick with the Origin version - exactly because I can just pick and choose.

I hope you get your refund. Don't know how long you can expect it to take, unfortunately. What a frustrating situation

The refund was approved and the game isn't showing up in my Steam library. The problem is that I can't get rid of it in my game. I went back to an old save and it's still coming up with the UL loading screen and UL objects.
My biggest problem is that there's a problem with my flower shop that showed up after I installed UL.
Missing object resourse instance with large boxes in the middle of the shop. I have spent the last 2 days looking for a solution.

You didn't mention what you tried to remove those items, so please forgive me if I'm repeating troubleshooting you've done.

Deleting Those Pesky Objects

1. Ctrl-Shift-C together to bring up the cheat console.
2. Type in testingcheatsenabled on and then type in buydebug on.
3. Shift-click on lot and select either buy or build on this lot.

For those hard to delete items, press Ctrl-Shift together, while having mouse over item and select Delete it.

You can find an example and How-To here.

You will then want to resave the lot after objects have been deleted.

Already tried that and it didn't work. Right now I'm saving anything important to my external drive and I'm going to clean S3 off my computer completely and reinstall the base game and each EP separately.

I'm not sure why a lot of people seem to have something against TSR. I just spent a couple of hours in there getting my stuff back. The nice thing about having a membership is having the use of the download manager. They have your d/l history and as long as you're not in the game, you can install right from the d/l manager. You don't need to pull everything from a download and then launch it into the game.

I haven't place all my mods yet but I think this is going to be a painfull process because I had a lot of CC that didn't come from TSR. I have most of my CC in a folder in my desktop so I'll be able to eventually find stuff. I just went to my mill to find the outside covered in wall mounted fish and model train sets. I have to track down the ivy that was on it. This is going to be a long term project, I fear.

People don't like TSR, because they charge money for getting easier access to something that is already free - which is the CC.

Mod The Sims, for instance, does not - access is the always the same for everybody.

Ah. It was worth it to me to pay the membership price to get rid of the advertising and for the download manager. I didn't pay full price though because they had a sale.

Well, good grief!! What the heck is it???

I'm having to recover everything build by build because I inadvertently deleted all my CC - a senior moment - don't judge. 

I went into my spa/salon/tattoo parlor and find this thing in the middle of the studio.



No idea what it is or where it came from but thank goodness I was able to eliminate it with a cheat.
