Thank you. It seemed to take forever and it sat empty for so long because I didn't really know what to do with it. It wasn't until I found the information on Google that I was inspired to get busy with it. That and the FB Sims 3 Builders page. :D

Quebec City Street - AKA Riverwalk Shops

The inspiration for this has been hanging on my livingroom wall since I visited Quebec City several years ago. I started collecting street art from places that I'd visited because it was easy to pack and didn't take up a lot of room.

Rebuilding Riverview, I wanted to turn the area where the Doo-Peas tower is into a business/entertainment/shopping district. So far I've added a large seafood restaurant, the Al Fresco Market and the Prism glass studio. I had two empty lots along the riverfront that I wanted to make into a shopping center but I wasn't sure how I wanted to do it. Then I noticed the painting on my wall and there was the idea.
Of course I had to pay homage to the street artist by placing his easel next to the art store on the corner.
I added a lot to the end in order to place the tower building which may become the new library.

Thank you. I'm really happy with it. It's going to be a while before it get furnished though. I have the art shop, full of clutter at the moment, a clothing shop and a toy shop slated for the red building. One shop is empty but I may just enlarge the clothing shop.
The blue building is going to have a wine shop. The building with the tower (which is actually on the street behind) isn't even close to the real thing but that was proving impossible so I "interpreted" it. :D

I  made the street screenshot into my screen wallpaper. Now I keep thinking I'm in the game. I'm confused enough without adding to the problem.  ;D

lol!!

That sounds similar to when I look at screenshots of our houses. I try to scroll around to see more of the house and I can't because it's a screenshot.
