I was just coming back to clarify. Each of those phases is on it's own lot with multiple stores and registers in each store. I've done a lot of reading and getting conflicting points of view. Some said it doesn't work and some say it does. Regardless, I'm just having fun rebuilding RV and I don't actually care if the builds don't function. Having said that, when I go live, someone is in the art store manning the register. I have a bunch of mods loaded up which could potentially make it functional and that would be a bonus.
If/when I get back to actually playing the game, all the elements are there that are needed to make the game work for the sims - hospital, police, military, school, town hall, etc.

The bookstore does actually work since I placed a rabbithole rug in it and it gets lots of activity. Sims will hang out in the store itself and disappear into the rabbithole if they are there to actually purchase a book.

I figured it out thanks to ATS inspiration. Since I have a whole other floor that's not being used, as well as some attic space, I've added an elevator and it's going to be a boutique hotel. :)

Oh cool!! I had wondered if you had found something more to do with your shops. :)

Just for fun, as a side project, I'm going to attempt this house. It's not for Riverview because it just doesn't fit the over all look of the town.

I could see it created on one the bigger lots up on the hill where the big fancy houses are. It looks like it would blend right in.

Though it really depends on the look you're going for for your RV Renovation. :)

I kind of thought it was a bit too modern for RV but maybe not. I guess it will depend on how big it ends up being. I'm going to try doing it differently than I normally do. I really can't judge how big the lot will end up being but since it's pretty symetrical, I'm going to start with the middle section on a small lot and I'll move it to a bigger lot for each section I add to it. I can see it ending up on a 64x64 lot and there isn't one that big on the hill but there are two of them on the other side of town which, for some reason, to me, is north (behind the big hill with the big mansion).

I'm almost finished with my shops and it's getting pretty frustrating. There's so much "stuff" on the lots that it's lagging like crazy and I have to wait for the grab hand to release when I'm trying to move something. I only have a few more things to place on shelves and I'm done!

Can you take out the lots you're finished with and just work on the one you're trying to finish up?
