Pool parties are so weird. People throw them when they don't even have a pool. When they do have a pool, the party guests seldom use it. One notable exception I experienced was in Cape Albacore. Those people loved their pools.

Agreed! I'm just happy to see the party thing actually working. For a long time it didn't seem to be. The Sim would go to the house and there would be no one there or he couldn't get in. Bender's stress level is back down so I'll be sending him back to Egypt today.

For some strange reason Bender is looking a lot less like Indiana Jones, and a lot more like Adam Lambert. He was even singing in the shower. I dunno.....

Saltwood House

If anyone is using Saltwood House in Riverview, I've just discovered that the stairs from the side deck down to the pool area are non-functional and need to be replaced.

I got a chance to jump into your RV save, found the Saltwood house and the non-functional back porch stairs.  It looks like they were placed with a stair mod in your mods folder at the time?

It took me a min to figure it out but you're right. I thought you meant the stairs were mods but they are regular stairs. I did have the "toddlers can use stairs (or whatever it's called) mod in my mods folder but when I was having problems with Bender in his travels, I took a lot of the misc mods out. What's puzzling is that none of the other stairs appear to have been affected as far as I can tell because Bender has no problem going in and out of his house or up and down the stairs inside. It also didn't affect the stairs inside the Saltwood House. Strange. Probably just replacing the stairs will fix that and then I'll see what happens if I replace the mod. I needed it for the Moore house because they kept getting stuck at the top of the stiars if they were carrying the toddler.

Sorry about that. Yes, they are regular stairs.  Though, when I moused over them they had a odd name - if that makes sense?

Leading me to believe that  either the mod isn't in the mods folder or maybe it isn't working correctly, the stairs or maybe mod needs to be replaced, like you mentioned.

The toddlers can use stairs mod - I can't remember the name of it either, has always been a tricky mod for me. So I just quit trying to work with it.

I've experienced the same thing with other houses. I typically delete and replace the stairs when I start using a new house because I never had the Toddlers Can Use Stairs mod.

I've had it happen before as well and replacing them fixed the issue, but mousing over these stairs shows the mod that's no longer there.

And this. Bender is just back from France and is out at Gabby's bar for a bit of R&R. Really David Simbeck? It's almost 11:00 pm and you bring your kid to a bar?

Bender has a cute butt.

Bender is just home for a quick break from China before heading back to France. It seems he was forgetting to pay his buills before he left so now the repo man is on his way. What does Bender do? Goes to his bar and makes himself a drink. it's 9:5 a.m.
