Thank you guys.

I'm playing with a premade Sim, Paka'a Uha from Sulani, who is a mermaid. He is originally male with a female frame, but I like to make him female, as clothes will then fit him better. I still say 'he', though. Old habits die hard, I guess. He has retained his male voice too, but whatever.

Fortunately, the new werewolf neighborhood (a previous busy logging camp, now a small secluded community of werewolves) features a large lake for Paka'a to swim in, and it has a fishing spot too. So far, he has made friends from one of the two werewolf factions. I should probably consider playing as a werewolf, but right now, I'm just sightseeing and getting a feel for the pack.

Paka'a is very social and wants to befriend a bunch of people. He is silly, loves music (likes to play the violin himself), and has a close bond with the ocean. The latter meaning he will become depressed if not allowed access to a larger body of water for a while. Thus, good having the lake close by.

Pictures:

This is Paka'a at the local park. He is making a face due to just having socialized with a very stanky stray dog.

Moonwood Mill bears resemblance to three other neighborhoods: Granite Falls, Glimmerbrook, and the forested part of Henford-On-Bagley.

The various foliage is of lovely quality.

This is the premade little cabin, Paka'a lives in.

Our first werewolf friend. He is a librarian and a gloomy sort.

The Alpha of the more sophisticated pack, also a friend. The librarian is part of this pack as well. Paka'a has been welcomed into it as friend.

I love taking pictures of mer-tail flukes.

Paka'a's mer-form was always very female even when male.

Sun setting.

And that's it for now :)

Beautiful photos!!

Moonwood Mill gives me Moonlight Falls vibes. lol  Wonder if it's based on the same area of the northwest. (Vancouver, Upper Western Washington (Forks) and a little bit of Western Oregon if I remember correctly.)

I love some of the hair tones Sims 4 has come out with lately.

I decided to cure Paka'a of his mer-ness and befriended the most savage werewolf, who was then "kind" enough to bestow the gift (Greg's Gift, lol) of lycanthropy. The transformation came very quickly compared to vampirism, but it progresses much slower. The werewolf skill and rank system is a cross between the vampire and spellcaster ones. I lament the lack of a feminine werewolf body frame. Oh well, maybe it will come later, or someone will make a mod for it.

I don't know what to think of the werewolf design. It's definitely better than the ape like one in The Sims 3, but a complete eyesore compared to, say, that in the Skyrim game. I have a feeling that I will be going back to Skyrim one of these days. *shrugs*

I like the ape-like werewolves in Sims 3. I just want to pet them all and play fetch with them. :)

A New Beginning in Appaloosa Plains

WIP.
So, I emptied the neighborhood to make room for my extended Alvi family from way back when. Then, I moved in most of the households I had saved. I'll list them below as I get them all settled in. They are all interrelated and I was adamant about giving them arabic names. I have NRaas Story Progression on which will name new nuggets in my non-active households. Oh, and Alvi infants are called nuggets, not babies. It just came to be that way.

The main household

VJ & Miraj Alvi - founders
Jezenya and Hanuna (teen girls)
Nadira and Lala (toddler girls)
Ewa (alien toddler, incubated by Miraj)
Buddy (German Shepherd)

The latest heirs to the great Alvi empire

~ King Daim & Queen Inaya
Offspring (oldest to youngest): Princess Hannah♀, Princess Robin♀, Princess Nadia♀, Prince Shayan♂

I should play this household...

This here is King Daim. He is the first of my Alvis to be born with dark brown hair.

Well, if one likes the Alvi-features. Which I do, of course :)

I like to, um, "breed" Sims and see what mutations the game comes up with from time to time.

Unfortunately, I have lost a few individuals, but the main bulk is still there. I have a single red-haired Alvi, one with light blue eyes and another with purple ones. And I also have some with completely black hair. All come from VJ and Miraj through various means. It's fun to observe the "genetics" at work - these mutations in particular.

And here I am trying to manage one sim with a horse and a cat and not doing very well while you are managing a dynasty. :D I finally put them on Free Will and left them to their own devices.
But in my defense, I *am* trying to rebuild an entire town. :D
