I have placed an elixir shop cash register in the regular consignment store, where my Sims often go to check if any interesting and expensive elixirs are available for purchase.

VJ is awake during the night because of his job in crime, so he went this time and found a Fountain of Youth elixir - one of the most rare and expensive ones. It resets a Sim's age to young adult, and VJ had one in mind for that. But once he was done shopping, it was too early to visit anyone, so he spend some time singing and playing with a toy from the consignment store's toybox outside.

Then he went to the Racket residence and threw the elixir at Lolly who had recently become an elder.

I figured Boyd is thinking in the last picture: I should have paid for that.

Just saw an elderly evil guy kiss the female kissing booth attendant. She flailed her arms and grimaced as though she was disgusted. So funny!
