He is a bro-type, outdoorsy, goofball who likes fishing above all else. :)

Those photos look beautiful. Were they taken during sunset?

So, after watching a Sims 4 YouTuber player play around with a resort in The Sims 3, I decided to try this with Miraj. He has purchased a premade beach resort in Island Paradise at 0 Simoleons - Hobart's Hideaway, which has been renamed Flava-ful Resort after the Alvi residence, Flava-ful, in Sunset Valley. It has been running for 3 days and is a 2-star resort so far.

Running a resort is not something I have tried before. Anyone care to join in the experiment? I don't play with VJ this time, just Miraj. And I'm not doing anything to upgrade the resort for now, because I want to get a feel for it first. There are other expensive and higher rated premade resorts one can buy later on.

Cool. There is no rush. And a resort can be placed in any world as long as you have the Island Paradise expansion.

I've given up on Isla Paradiso because of the persistent lag issues and moved Miraj to Lucky Palms instead. On the outskirts of that town is a premade lot called Salty Springs Resort - I've had Miraj purchase that and turn it into a de facto resort. It required some changes, but I'm pretty happy with the result. And no lag :)

What a great idea to use the little "resort" outside of Lucky Palms!! It looks like it's easier to upgrade and already has a swimming pool!! :)
