S3 - Smooth Patch by Lazy Duchess

I hate to jinx things for myself but I got all my stuff back after creating a new game and loading things back slowly. So far everything is staying put but then I've said that before.

This may not be the same issue though.

If I'm understanding what the issue is correctly. It's that Nindigo is not able to get anything to download from the store to the launcher.

I was just having a similar problem in a way. But then went to my purchase history page and downloaded a couple of sets from there and it went fine.

I was having that problem. It was showing up  in the download dashboard as already installed but it wasn't.

Nothing seems to work. I'm going to make an attempt after uninstalling the smooth patch...

Update: Removing the smooth patch and creating a new The Sims 3 folder did the trick.

Thank you for the update. I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'm wondering if it might be because of the way the patch works. I'm not seeing any other reports on issues downloading from the store. It might be worth reporting the issue to the creator? -- Maybe even what you did for a work-around?

It actually may have nothing to do with the patch because just creating a new sims folder corrected the issue for me.

Oops, forgot this thread - reporting back!

The issue with store downloads that didn't seem to work resolved itself after I cleaned up my game folder a bit and re-installed the smooth patch.

I'm a happy camper now
