I didn't get the security thing through Chrome. Apparently she, like a lot of other people, are very unhappy with Tumblr because their restrictions are getting really tight.

I'm not sure yet what windows I'm going to use. I may use the ones you did but I also like the ones from B5 though they're more Craftsman. One of the contributors to her work goes by the name of Pocci. Apparently that site is long gone but a couple of people have found their downloads. Another one I like is Luna. There's a site for all her finds as well.

Thank you for sharing those links. I've heard something about Tumblr policy getting stricter and players being upset about, but haven't seen any source articles.

Have you ever had an issue placing windows on diagonal walls? I do it all the time but for some reason I can't get a particular (CC) window to place though I have them elsewhere on the house.

Yes, every now and again I'll have issues placing windows diagonally. You might try placing them with moveobjects on? That is specially helpful when you need to place windows on the 2nd floor, for example and there's a roofline in the way.

I really hate when I've written a reply then close the window before posting it. It must be time to quit. I'm getting hungery and the game is starting to go flaky on me.

The windows just decided to go where I wanted them. No rhyme or reason for being stubborn.

Progress Update - Front elevation so far.

I can so relate to that!!

Yep those are good signs it's time to quit.

I am happy to hear the windows are placing correctly. :)  The house is coming along beautifully!! I love that you're able to use the roof decor. My roofline was not high enough from what I gather. I also love the colors you're using!!

Those brackets should have worked on yours just fine. It's a real challenge to place them. If you can get them to line up where you want them, you can move them up or down. Sometimes you might have to change the pitch of your roof slightly to make them work.
I was awake for a few hours in the middle of the night so I'm just getting up now. I'll be mobile in about an hour and I'll get back to work.

I tried to place them on the front of the house and did try moving the up and down with the mouse. The roofline is too low. I tried changing the roof pitch, but then it just looked off to me, so went back to a previous save and left the roof as it is.

I love the house I built, but what bugs me is that I built it too far back on the lot. It's workable as is there is room behind the house for a small garden. But I have this bad habit of having large gardens. *Blush* Though there is room for another garden on the side of the house, so there is that.

I really like the idea you're going with build on a smaller lot and then player can place house on any bigger lot desired for more space.

You can do that with mine as well, but I've never been one to really like playing with large lots because the lag gets to be too much.

40x40 is okay, but any bigger than that is a pain to play with.

My problem is usually building too far forward and then I have a problem with porches and steps.

Making progress. Had to shut down for a bit because it was getting flaky. I think I spend as much time searching for specific objects as I do actual building.
I just need to add a few more windows and I'll post another progress update.
