RandomGenetics

Copy the mod into your Mods/Packages folder after extracting it.
There is a thorough explanation of how it works on the mod's page. The mod takes effect whenever a Sim is born. If you have the mod installed, it starts after you go into live mode. You'll see a message pop up about the mod starting. To use the mod, click on a Sim and select the Random Genetics.
Starting a new save works the best with this mod as after you've selected a family you should get a message of the Random Genetics started.

Most of the time you should be able to click on a Sim and select Randomize Genetics.
A message will popup giving you genetic statistics.
Take Sim into CAS to see their new look.
If you don't like the statistics, or what they look like in CAS select Randomize Genetics again until your happy with the results.
Note: Not all Sims have the Randomize Genetics option. Not sure why that is, but the rest of the family did.
When I added the mod to my game, I did so after already playing a save. It seemed like the mod didn't work at first as I didn't see any genetics options. After I unpaused the game a message popped up about the mod starting. I clicked on each of my Sims to see they had the genetics option. That's when I knew it was working.
