The Puppet Theatre
« on: August 18, 2021, 05:29:51 AM »
A thread idea for a place to share humorous Sim things and moments, be it the Sims themselves or something relating to them. A very delightful aspect of a Sims game is the fact that the "puppets" perform for us without strings just like Pinocchio, if one lets them. And even with strings attached, they surprise us from time to time :)

I'll share something first, as is most becoming, I assume:

My Miraj got a wish to join the medical career after having dressed up as a doctor at a recent costume party. Far be it from me to deny my Sims their wishes (...do it all the time...), so I had him apply via the computer at the hospital who hired him as an Organ Doner right then and there, no questions asked. When you hover the mouse over the Sim's current job level, there is a small description of it. Organ Donor reads:

'In a profession where the patient always comes first, the Organ Donor is the epitome of that philosophy. Donating with a smile will go a long way towards getting you on the other side of the scalpel, so try to make the best of this dicey situation.'

Time to put your superior gardening skills to use, Miraj, and grow some extra organs. Maybe the omni plant is just the thing for this! ;D

Where's the "thumbs up" emoji when we need it. :D

I had a situation (I think I already shared it) when David was in the mood to get frisky but Ashley wasn't having it at all! No way!!

I was showing my friend my mill lot yesterday but I had to bring William, the caretaker, back to show her how the mill worked in Live mode. As I was zooming in on it, some stranger in a striped shirt and an apron was running out the door. No idea where he came from.  :o

Evil and inappropriate Sims aren't the smartest. My VJ, who is both and childish to top it off, has lately been making a habit of critizising his step-daughters' family which includes them, Miraj (his spouse in this save), and himself. *clapping slowly*

When I played my Alvi fam a couple of days ago, he was being ridiculous. He was throwing a pool party and walked up to Miraj's two teenage daughters. The girls were conversing and being friendly. Then VJ started to badmouth one to the other and became upset that it wasn't received well. I exclaimed out loudly that I couldn't believe how dumb he was.

VJ: Why don't you think my critizism of you is cool? Stupid girls...

Oh, my...

Neat freak Miraj just attempted to bathe the family cat, but it went absolutely crazy in his arms as he held it to the bath tub.

Now, he has a -10 cat scratch moodlet for eight hours!

I so wish I had gotten a picture of it, but I was completely unprepared :D

Uhh I know what that's like. lol

I've given kitty a bath before. Luckily with our kitty she was mostly behaved that if you didn't get her head wet she wouldn't struggle too much.

I was in the tub once and my cat decided to walk around the rim. Oops!!
