Yep, my computer nearly crashed last night as I was working on the house too. I was trying to figure out what I want to do for the external wall covering.  Luckily I had saved just before it happened. I also have a copy of the house just in case. lol

I saw these screenshots in my screenshots folder and had to share.  It shows some of how I try to figure out what I want to do with the wall coverings. :)

Looking good. I'm going to do something different with the front door. I don't like that roof because it isn't allowing for the little porch from the second floor. I fiddled with it for a long time and couldn't make it work.

Thank you!!  I'm liking the house so far, for the most part. There's a few things I'd change though. I might try working with my ideas in a little while.

Are you talking about the roofline above the front door with the skylight type thing. Sims 3 doesn't do that, that I'm aware of. I don't think there's custom content that does that.

Ohhh!! You can add a basement if you'd like!! Requestor said yes to a basement. Whoot!! :)

Here's the house so far....

It's actually not a skylight. It looks to me like a door that goes out to a little porch.
I don't like the entry at all. It's not nearly grand enough for a house like that.

I'll work on something tomorrow. I'm late getting my dinner started and I'm hungry!!

Sounds like a good plan!!  I'm working on somewhat of a remodel of the house now. *Blush*  Working with an idea I had while I was just finishing up my first build. lol

I really like the fireplace over by the front door, so that's part of the remodel is adding a fireplace to what's suppose to be the dinning room. And I wanted to see about adding a side porch/deck to the right side of the house.

There are 3 fireplaces downstairs in the actual house (one in the dining room) and one up. It's a very odd layout. Some huge bathrooms and then tiny ones. I suspect that the primary suite over the garage is a recent add on. I don't think that's original to the build.

There is actually a porch on the dining room side. I hope I've left room. LOL

I only added two fireplaces.  It looks like there's one in the den, from what it looks like in the floorplan. I left that one out. I really liked the idea of having one in the livingroom and the diningroom.

I left room for the porch and deck.... but forgot to add it. *Blush* So I'm jumping in game to add that. :)

Then I'll get photos to share.

Alrighty, I am really pleased with how this house turned out!! Definitely looks better with the two grand fireplaces and deck with sunroom. :)

I've posted the house. I named it Crowley.

I did see what you called the little deck out above the front door when I went back to the realtor site to view the photos again. It's been a long -long- time since I've seen something like that in a house.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!! :)
