Started a new save with Seasons pack disabled and work Friday mod installed.  I added a few families with toddlers from the household library in hopes that it will help the the career. (It has!!)  Added Aria to my family as my helper Sim.

Was able to get the Daycare profession right away from checking with the computer and things seemed to be going okay, until they weren't. Something just felt off. Not sure how to explain. One of the tots didn't get picked up. I quit the game and will be starting over again with my same Sims.

How's it going for you Nindigo?

It's the end of the first week and it was very successful. All arrived hungry and a couple of them needed a snuggle right away. The new little guy, Joe, is at least crawling, and found his way to the toys where he entertained himself for a while. Little Theresa, independent as ever, decided to go walkies outside in the rain. Too bad the game doesn't have baby gates. :D
I'm sad for Korry. He seems content enough to just sit on the floor as long as he's not hungry or in need of a change. He does want to have more fun though but he doesn't play. A few tickles, snuggles and air tosses make him happy
Little Joe's daddy was late picking him up so it was after 8:00 by the time Debbie got her dinner. She barely had time during the day for a bathroom break. She's now fast asleep after a well-deserved soak in the tub.

The day ended with a "Great" report for all 3 toddlers. Debbie is going to spend the next few days working on her skills and developing a social life.

MrsFlynn: I'm getting ready to give it another try. I've been battling indecisiveness, pains, puppy, og general distraction. I'll be playing in SV via Origin with only Generations installed - super simplified.

Remember me wanting to play with the Andrews family? I'm gonna use Beau as the daycarer while Victoria minds her journalist career :)

I like that idea!! If I end up having to start over again, I'll remember that. lol

My new save is behaving better. Got great reports both days I've played so far.

Here's both Vanessa and Aria teaching walking and talking:

This was tricky to accomplish, but pretty satisfying to do so. :)

Day one was uneventful. Although the kids had been great for hours, they changed to good just as the workday ended. Go figure.

I had that happen to me just before starting over yesterday. Everything for both tots were going great, then one changed to good for whatever reasons, even though I had given both of them tons of attention, feeding etc.

I'm just going to play through the weekend and work on her skills, then report the day-by-day daycare.

Here's a mod that might come in handy. I haven't used it yet because I'd have to close down my game and restart it.

Doris had a successful first day, earning the best score possible. Her job performance shot up half way.

After little Theresa came home from school and had done her homework, she played peek-a-boo with little Kristofer Sekemoto which is an efficient way to raise friendship with toddlers, while mom Doris took care of Irene Su's need for a snack.

I cheated in the Super Nanny lifetime reward for Doris after cheating in the skills she needed to complete her lifetime wish. Sorry for cheating, but I'm solely focused on the profession in this save. I also play with static needs, aging off, and zero autonomy.

I miss my resort-playing days in Lunar Lakes with the same family. I'm going to add in a new resort for Doris at some point too.

Oh, and sorry for changing so much between Sims. I'm a little messed up these days due to chronic pain acting up, lack of sleep, new puppy, and just general discomfort.

Oooh good idea to cheat the Super Nanny lifetime reward.  It's all good. We're still learning about the career, what works, what doesn't and sharing tips.  That's what counts!!  And of course hopefully having a little fun while were playing.
