I don't think they take naps.  I haven't seen the option to do so.  It seems like the gist of it is to take care of the needs of the toddlers/kids and maybe teenagers while they're in your care.  Keep them fed, clean and entertained.

I put them in the cribs for a bit and they seemed quite happy there. I thought they would put their heads down and nap but they didn't. They played and chattered to themselves. I had hoped to see them interact with each other but it was only day one and I'm still working through the options for them. A lot of times I got a "no interaction" message.

I don't have much of an update this play session.  Trying to get through the weekend. I'm on Sunday morning at the moment.  I did add a mod from MtS that allows daycare workers to work on Fridays, so I'm hoping that will help for this next work week.

I do want to note, I did get both my Sims the Super Nanny (25,000 points) Lifetime Rewards

When I had enough points to get them.  Got Super Nanny because I figured it might help the little tots happy and make my Sims better at their job.

Wk4-D2-Mon.  During the time off, I did meet one of the toddlers caregivers and was able to make friends with them. So now I know all 3 parents/caregivers of the toddlers.

Errm... So I thought. Now that I'm lv2, I got another toddler to take care of and two more caregivers to meet and befriend. This makes 3 toddlers to take care of. Oooh boy!! And a bumpy start to the mornin'.

1. Lonely and Hungry ; 2. Stressed and in need of attention ; 3. Does not like the xylophone lol ; 4. End of Day - We're all still alive!! Yay!!

I did get a great report, as I was able to keep everyone in a great mood.  Yay!!

--  Tip: You (your main daycare provider Sim) can't interact with parents/caretakers of the toddlers/kids when they're getting dropped off or picked up. Try befriending them on your days off or after work. If you're wanting to gain friendship with the parents/caretaker, from what I have learned. It seems like with this career friendship with parents/caretaker doesn't matter.

Interactions are:  Snuggle, Tickle, Toss in Air, Attack with the Claw, Change Diaper, Change Outfit, Feed on Floor, Teach Talk/Walk maybe available, and Chat if they know how to talk.

Lv2 gets §200. a week up to §360 a day, maybe more if you can get a better report.

Wk4-D3-Tues.  Day went well, was able to keep everyone entertained, fed and clean.  Got a Great report!! :)

Is becoming friends with the parents something you need to do for the game, or just something you want to do?

Relationship with the parents is 100% irrelevant for the profession far as I can tell. And since I've played a good deal with this profession before up until getting extra work, I can say that friendship with the kids doesn't seem to factor in either, but just happens naturally as you train them.

Seems like at the moment there is enough to do with just taking care of the kiddos and yourself.

Debbie's second day went great.

Little Therese is a fiercely independent little girl. She was the first to walk and then she took off outside. Thankfully she went into a fenced yard. Korry, on the other hand, seems to be quite needy. He's not yet walking, nor does he seem to be interested in entertaining himself.
Therese decided she didn't like her lunch and tossed it on the floor.
Debbie was quite relaxed and enjoyed watching them play, then finally dinner for herself after the kiddos left.

Daycare End of Day 2 Report:
Therese Schubert - Great
Korry Moore - Great

I have a theory about these two little ones. I know Korry's family because I created them. He's the youngest of 5 and probably doesn't have to entertain himself because there's always someone around to play with him. I don't know Therese's family and they're not residents of Riverview as far as I know, but she could very well be an only child and used to amusing herself.

Is there a career in psychology? :D

Day 3 went well again. Everybody went home happy. Debbie got a promotion to "Cool Caregiver". Tomorrow might prove a bit more challenging since she'll be getting another toddler.

Once again Therese was quite happy to entertain herself as long as she was fed and changed. I don't know what her situation is but every day she has someone different drop her off and pick her up and she always arrives hungry. Poor munchkin. I don't think her family life is very good.

Korry continues to need more attention but each day either mom or dad drops him off and picks him up.
When they were in the playpen together, they didn't interact with each other. Therese chattered to herself in the mirror and Korry played with the abacus.

It's an interesting dynamic.
