Ah. Another case of illogical Sims logic, I suppose.

I was pretty bummed when I learned that even with aging off gnomes can still age and eventually die.

Fun facts for you guys before I turn in:

I pronounce my username 'Nin-DEE-go', not as 'NIN-dee-go'. I was mentioned in a livestream recently and thought it was curious to hear an English-speaking person pronounce it. I know it is because you say the color indigo like that. However, in Danish, we put the stress on 'di' in indigo :P

In Danish we pronounce the name of my favorite Sim, Miraj, as 'Mirai' and not as 'Miraach' like English-speakers do. And also, our 'r' is pronounced like the French/German one :P

Hugs, tea, and cookies! <3

That's interesting. My Icelandic grandmother had an accent so I think I can "hear" what you are saying.
I'm not saying Iceland and Danish would necessarily be close to the same but I'm sure they might sound somewhat similar. When I hear a Scandinavian accent, I can't tell which country it comes from.

Similarly, the UK, Aus/NZ and even South African can be mistaken for each other.
If you were to travel to the US/Canada, you may think we all sound the same but can tell which part of Canada someone comes from when I hear them speak. There's quite a difference between Eastern/Western Canada but it's not quite as strong as the difference between the Northern and Southern US and East/West for that matter.
When we lived down south in Georgia, after a while I could tell the difference between Georgia/Alabama/Mississippi. I'm pretty sure Tennessee had it's own language. :D

The phrase most heard in those state - "You're not from around here, are you?" - each in their own local vernacular.

That had me think of how I pronounce your username.. Had to say it out-loud a couple of times as it sounds different in my head. I pronounce it NIN-dee-go.

For some reason when I read or say the name Nindigo I think of the color blue.

I pronounce Miraj as Mirage. I never thought of to say it like Miraach.

Can I vent for a bit? Thanks!

The Sims 3 Store...I am logged in on both Origin and the store with the same ID, yet...although my profile page lists Barnacle Bay as not owned, I can download it - not buy it which would be logical, if I really did not own it. That tells me that there are some scripts that aren't talking together. Really wish someone would clean that site up and make it work properly, but someone probably won't.

Okay, venting over :)

I've come across sets that state we don't own it. Yet I go to it's original set and it says owned.

Basically some of the compilations or featured looks will say not owed. I haven't heard of it with the store towns though. I'm thinking something is messed up in EA's computer somewhere. :(

Gah!

If I hadN'T saved while my Alvi lads were in France, I would have lost that save altogether, as it has now gone corrupt and been saved as a .bad file. Oof, I'm gonna make backups now.

Way back when - 2010/2011 my saves would regularly get corrupted. I learned to use Save As frequently so to be able to have backups. It's been a life saver, or should I say game saver. Ha!!

I have a folder on my desktop that I copy various Sims 3 files over to, so in case my computer eats my save or I accidentally delete my current save *Blush* I have a backup.
