Haha!

Well, I've harvested two white-tail bucks today. It's a slow paced game, very realistic (you have to account for wind direction, precipitation, elevation, your smell, noise you make, how visible you are, etc.). Also, they may be pixel animals, but I pride myself on being an efficient shot. If I'm not certain I can down them with one shot, I won't shoot. I give up on a fair share of opportunities, because I determine they will fail one way or the other. A good shot will get the most experience points and money.
My husband is a more impatient sort. Just picture a guy running behind an angry cape buffalo in Africa with a small rifle meant for rabbits and shooting said buffalo in its backside over and over, getting close to zero experience points and money once it finally drops several miles from the starting point of the first shot. That's my husband. Add to that picture a handful of vengeful buffalos from the same herd chasing my husband's player character for shooting one of their own. And then there is me trying to lecture him for the 50th time, and still to no avail, that he is doing it wrong, while I try to take out his pursuers with a proper caliber weapon that I could afford, because I do things right.
Sigh...
