I'm really glad that I tend to save compulsively every five minute or so, because Holly just died.
She was running her private jumping course with Misty the horse. What I didn't realize is that the inferno hoop jump can actually set a Sim on fire. So, I wondered why the camera suddenly moved to her. Then I saw Misty buck her off, and when she got up her backside was on fire. In the worst possible way, I was made aware that there were no shower on the lot, only bath tubs. And buy/build mode was unavailable, of course. She was able to call a firefighter, though, but they arrived so late and ran to the front door instead of to Holly, that Holly expired.
Last save was made just 3-4 in-game hours prior and during night time, so not much was lost. Having replaced the dangerous hoop, everyone can now look forward to a peaceful morning
