I've been in and out a couple of times. Did some housework and had a phone appt with my doc. Haven't started with my game yet.

Have you ever just randomized in CAS? I often do just to see who shows up. It can be kind of fun. Yesterday I was filling up some of my houses so they wouldn't be occupied by random strangers and I was just randomizing for the heck of it. My mind wasn't really on what I was doing but all of a sudden, up pops someone I know! Well, that I know from TV. It's Ramona Singer. Now you have to be a fan of The Real Housewives franchise (Yes, I know, but it's my guilty pleasure because I'm stunned at how people with more money than they know what to do with treat their friends and claim they have "class". Sorry, but having money doesn't mean you have class). I digress - climbing down off soapbox.
Ramona Singer happens to be one of the New York housewives and is one of the most obnoxious people you ever want to know. So I gave her the same traits the real Ramona has and put her into one of my houses. Should be interesting.

I have randomized in CAS. I've gotten some interesting Sims that way.

I've only ever really heard of the Real Housewives franchise and maybe seen bits and pieces online. That's cool that you made a Sim named Romona.

It's been awhile since I've seen a rainbow in my game. Like probably a year or two now.

You have invested a lot of time with that family. I'm still hanging on to my original six but I haven't done much with them yet. So far I've only replaced one in my new reset. I'm slowly getting there.

I wish there was a way to learn more about details like that about Sims 3.  SimsWiki or Sims Wikipedia doesn't have that kind of info. Or at least that I've seen.

I'm setting up a new save file in a version of Sunset Valley and wanted to share the version of SV I'm using:

Sunset Island 2 ~ From the Sims 3 Exchange (uploaded in 2013)

It's features:

- Original Sunset Valley.
- With all Original Townie Families in their homes.
- Edited in CAW to smooth out the land, roads and routing (as far as I can tell)
- Has all expansion pack community lots except for WA lots and University lots.
- Has all dive spots, some house boats, docks and a hidden island.
- Has several empty lots to add store lots/venues.
- No Resort, but can be added.

  Packs Used: WA, Amb, LN, Gen, Pets, ST, SN, IP and ITF
  If any of these packs aren't installed, their lots will still show, but will not function.

I've known about this version of Sunset Valley for a few months now, but haven't taken a good look at it until a couple weeks ago.

The only problem I see that might cause issues are the lots on Pinochle Point. Some of them towards the end of the road seem to be slightly elevated or have a slight dip to them. Making them iffy to build on and may cause terrain issues with the lot.

This version isn't be supported anymore. The main support site is not up anymore, so I don't think anything will be fixed or updated.  I don't know enough about CAW to fix it.

This looks nice. Right now I'm focusing on RV but I still have my 6 sims, and the homes I built for the, who started out in SV. I'll keep it in mind.
