I am happy to see Aggie and Leighton back together!!

I'm still working on taking notes on the Singing career, playing in this this version of Sunset Valley. Though slightly edited for the way I play.

I am not that impressed with the singing career, but am happy that I took the chance to explore it. It was fun making a stage for it.

Of course playing in Yasmine's garden. I'm letting the harvestables die off cause I want to refocus on a smaller garden so there isn't as much to take care of and help the lag of the lot. *Blush*

I was playing around with VelosityGrass's Blueprint Maker, as I was curious how it worked. My notes on it can be found here. It's okay, but with the way I like to build I find it easier just to build the whole house. I was disappointed that you have to have a Sim on the lot to save the blueprint. But that's because I usually build houses via edit town, without Sims on the lot.

I dislike the singing career - mostly because of how it sounds when sims sing, plus it's so often the same song.

Ooooh I made the mistake of having my sound on a couple of nights ago, more so to hear from myself how bad it was. I heard Yasmine sing. *Shiver* I was like Girlfriend... No!! Just no!!  I quickly turned off the sound afterwards. lol   Poor girl needs singing lessons or a new profession. hehehe

I usually play without the sound on anyway, mostly out of habit.

I don't like the singing career because of the "babysitting" you have to do with them while they're working on a show/gig. You can't queue up several actions at once. To basically put on a full show pauses where your Sim is gargling water or whatever they do. You can only queue up one action at a time and have to wait a bit to queue up another action.

I usually have the sound turned down really low because it gets annoying when you're in building mode and it's the same thing over and over. I hear it in my head when I'm trying to go to sleep.

I do get a chuckle out of the singing in the shower.

Kids singing, I'm perfectly okay with - they are adorable shower singers. Leighton is always singing in the shower, too. I remember from my first time playing the Sekemotos some, what, 15 years back.

It's just that I have this song from the Singer career, sung by male sims, stuck in my head literally years after playing Matias Singh and wife in Starlight Shores.

I hate it, and it's always wating just underneath the surface to get triggered

In that same game, Priscilla died during one of her Magician performances, after the couple had become parents.

I believe you can adjust the tone of their voices up or down (treble or bass) using the heart icon I think on their favs. Either that or in CAS. I don't remember atm and I can't bring my game up to check. That doesn't help the song choice though, lol

I'm not in-game at the moment, but can still confirm that it's in CAS that you can adjust their voices.

It doesn't help the song choice, but that's what mute is for? lol
