The Tuscan Sunhat, correct. And those steps you listed are the ones I've taken. Of course, I copied over my mods as well except for any default replacement mods I had, but those three things - the world + two venues - are the only store things installed now. And the hat has still made itself disappeared.

Thank you for the confirmation.

I'm stumped so I did a search and found an article from Crinrict and from AHQ.

Store and Custom Content uninstalls itself
https://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2011/09/bug-store-and-custom-content-uninstalls-itself.html

The Sims 3 - My Store content keeps uninstalling
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/The-Sims-3-My-Store-content-keeps-uninstalling/td-p/783630

Both give some good tips to try. I'd start with Crinrict's article first to see if the tips/suggestions work.

If not, then read over the article at AHQ.

Thank you. The weird thing is that judging from the launcher it is still installed. I just can't access it and residents who are meant to use the hat no longer do. I find it depressing. *sips tea*

Hmm... Is it showing up in CAS? ... Goes to look at your original post at Carl's.

It sounds like it's not showing in CAS. But shown as installed via launcher in the Installed Content tab > Sims? - For the hat.

I don't know if this will help, but is the hat and MonteVista showing up as installed via Downloads Dashboard?

Downloads Dashboard
https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/forum/index.php?topic=16094.msg307126#msg307126

And for MonteVista, is it showing up in these two folders?

Where world files get installed to.
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\InstalledWorlds

Worlds show up in this folder after you've loaded a save using the world.
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\WorldCaches

I haven't had tea in awhile myself.

Every time I think of having some I look at the clock and think it's too late to have tea. I have decaf tea, but am not sure if it's actually fully decaf or not.

I can really relate to that. Same goes for other kinds of activities - when I finally am reminded, the time just isn't right ::)

I had some herbal tea when I last wrote. I like camomile tea as well. I try to avoid regular tea due to the caffeine-ish properties, because I often have sleep issues.

I understand those sleep issues! When I was younger, I thought I'd have any problems sleeping! HA!

Edit to add:  I thought that I'd *never have any problems sleeping.

Yes I've paused the game to get a photo and Yasmine will creepily turn her head to look at me. After awhile of it happening you start to expect it. Doesn't mean that it's less creepy though.  lol

I am freaked out.

Do your Sims move their heads after you pause the game? Mine do. Right now, it was extra creepy.

VJ and Miraj were cuddling on their couch. I was in control of VJ and wanted him kiss his spouse. Just as I clicked on Miraj, VJ turned his head and looked right into the "camera" at me. While the game was paused. It actually startled me.

Of course, hubby found it amusing.

For giggles, I aged down Anna-Liza Riddle with a Young Again potion. I did adjust her face here and there to get rid of some sharp edges in her cheek/jaw area. And I also slimmed her down a little. She wears no CC in this pictures. I think she looks pretty cute :)
