Nine hours later - I feel just fine save for some soreness from the needle's damage to the tissue (it was a pretty long one). I expected worse, but we'll see how I feel over the next few days. On the other hand, I don't really get much in the way of side effects from regular flu vaccines either (I get those because of asthma). I was nervous to be sure, but it is important to know what is anxiety induced "symptoms" and real ones related to the vaccine. The mind can play a whole lot of nasty tricks on you.

Ouch. That surprises me. Our needles were so tiny that I didn't even feel them going in. Glad that's all you are feeling. My daughter-in-law ended up sleeping half the day away after her shots.

The needle that went into me was almost 10 cm/4 inches long. Something my husband felt a need to comment on afterwards ;D

I don't think it touched the bone though thanks to the layer of fat ::)

Today, the soreness is about half of what it was yesterday. I feel a bit tired and a little bit feverish, but nothing major. So, yay!

I'm still having fun in Skyrim SE by the way. I need to do this for a little while.

At some point, VJ and Miraj will be knocking something fierce on my door again. They always do. Besides, they are in my thoughts <3

Yikes! Needles don't bother me normally, but I'd have run screaming from that one. Thanks, husband, for pointing that out.

I'm sure we'll be hearing from those boys soon.

My arm is hurting in sympathy.

It's kind of odd to be so warm/hot that you remove all blankets from the bed to waking up being chilly cause you have no blankets. It is really nice to have this cooler weather. :)

My place is still considerably warmer than it is outside. It took a while initially to warm up then the weather turned hot so now it's taking time to cool down again. I have fans going hoping to pull in some of the cooler air. It really helps that it's overcast today.

I should take advantage and do some cleaning today but I probably won't. :D I need to do some grocery shopping but it's a holiday here so the stores will be crazy with people stocking up for the long weekend. So I probably won't do that either.

I'm sure our place is warmer inside than it is outside. I'm sitting directly in front of a fan too. lol so there's a little bit of a breeze.

Thank goodness for the overcast. So nice!!

Oooh boy the stores are going to be crazy, you're right.  Even if you were to go grocery shopping now it's going to be fairly busy.

Hopefully it starts cooling down for you soon!!

You realize it won't be long before we're complaining about overcast. :D

I don't think I will, more because there's something about the rain that is very relaxing and going through that extreme heat wave has given me a whole new appreciation for cloudy days. :)

I'm talking about our long dreary winters. I definitely appreciate a cloudy/rainy day in the summer just as I appreciate a sunny day during the winter. There's a very slim chance it will rain today but they need it upcountry where fires have already started.
