I think you mean baby poop green. If your baby is puking up green, get that child to a hospital ASAP!  :D

Reminds me of the time my son, who was about 2 at the time, was sitting in his highchair eating chicken noodle soup. He threw up and started to cry saying he spilled his soup.

I'm going to try The Sims 3 Smooth Patch 1.0 by Lazy Duchess.

I found it via NRaas forum post: Link

Let us know how it works. I spoke too soon when I said everything was working as it should. That was until I shut down last night and everything disappeared again. I'm back to the base game and nothing I download seems to want to install. I've spent most of the day trying to fix it. :(

I don't remember, but have you tried un-installing and re-installing the game, LaPaige?

Yes. I've done it a few times and was able to move files from the old game to the new game and they worked fine. But today nothing works. I'm going back to my old game and see if I can't just reinstall RV. Why the heck am I having so much trouble? It must be something I'm doing because no one else seems to be having these issues.

At the end of each day I delete the files that are at the bottom of the Sims 3 folder (the ones that reappear when you reload the game), then I clear my recycle bin. I'll also clear out DCbackup folder except for the ccmerged.package. Is there something I'm deleting that I shouldn't be? There are so many posts about this issue on various forums so I don't think it's anything I'm doing but there doesn't seem to be a resolution. I've spent hours searching everything I can find on the subject.

I am not sure why things are getting uninstalled.  I have read where players regardless of how their game is installed will see things missing.  I've even had store items go missing as well. So it's not just you.

I've actually deleted all of the cache files, log files and tag file in the Sims 3 folder before as part of a test. Leaving Options.ini because I don't want to loose my graphics settings and gameplay options. All still loaded just fine.

However, there has been a few times where I've deleted all the files in the DCBackup folder except for the ccmerged.package file and have lost installed items. Due to that I leave those files alone. It doesn't hurt anything leaving the files there and prevents having to reinstall what goes missing, at least in my experience.

To me it seems more like personal preference to delete the files in DCBackup or not. I am not entirely sure if that will fully fix the issue, but it might be worth a try.

I went back to my old game, uninstalled Riverview, which wasn't showing up anyway, and reinstalled it. At the moment it's working...at the moment... We'll see tomorrow. I'll probably have to repeat the process.
