Er...my mods folder has suddenly disappeared.

Booted up the game after getting out of bed and couldn't find the NRaas options in-game no matter what I clicked on. Weird, I thought, and went to check my mods folder. To my surprise and disbelief, it was nowhere to be found.

Okay, game. I'm just gonna set it up again then. *scratches head*

Found it in my bin. But I certainly don't recall deleting it...

I am happy to hear you have you found your mods folder!!  After I went through it a few days ago I made a backup of it just in case.

I've been making back ups of my Sims 3 files even more lately due to a scare I had in late Aug or early Sept when I thought I had deleted my Electronic Arts folder. Let me tell you, my heart sank!!

What had happened is I had moved it by accident while I was moving other files and folders around.

These things cannot go missing on us. Our well being is directly linked to the existence of our Sims 3 folder

Anyway, how does a lot become this crowded with insects?

You're right about things that go missing. As you know, I had to start over from scratch a few months ago so I'm trying to be more careful now. I did a bit of "housekeeping" in my mods folder the other day and realized that I'd removed a few things I shouldn't have and more than once I've deleted my desktop save folder when I'm moving stuff around. So now I check to see whats in my recycle bin before I empty it.

From what I can see, those bugs look like butterflies so if you're infested, I'm happy it's butterflies. It could be worse.

Well, it was the lot with the magic shop across the road. I enabled buydebug mode and removed as many as I could before bulldozing the lot and replacing the shop.

Since it was so close by, I think it made my household lot lag.

Well, insects are actually used to make elixirs if your Sim dabbles in alchemy. But mine don't so far. However, I don't think that many spawners on one lot were the intention.

Ah. Since I just play a more realistic style, I don't have nearly as much fun as you do.

I'm trying to get RV built up a little more. I thought I'd stop actually building for a while and downloaded a few from different sites. And immediately deleted them after placing them because I didn't like them at all. Wayyyy too fussy. I like to build my houses as if I'd live in them myself and that's the problem.

Sorry for the grammar mistakes - I just spotted them. I haven't had much sleep the past 24 hours. I've noticed that I make really silly beginner's mistakes when I'm sleepy *blush*
