It's my understanding that you have to be careful placing lots with spawners on them because they have a chance of doubling/tripling. Specially when you've rotated the lot before placing it.

I'm not sure what to do if you've created a new game and the lot is like that other than to clean up the spawners.

It doesn't help to clean up the spawners and then save a copy to the library, as you might run into the spawners doubling/tripling again when replaced.

These things cannot go missing on us. Our well being is directly linked to the existence of our Sims 3 folder

Anyway, how does a lot become this crowded with insects?

Okay, I'm going to say something traitorous now...please forgive me.

There is one good reason to play The Sims 4 and that is *drumroll* custom food. I just downloaded about a hundred recipes for the most delicious looking cakes and all kinds of yummy desserts. And normal foods. And it looks so mouthwatering with The Sims 4 graphics style. My Sim will become morbidly obese in no time, but fortunately, it isn't accompanied by health risks in a game.

The only reason I'd consider TS4 is for the building aspect. I've picked up several food objects from TSR.

Rotating the lot will produce more spawners, but also I wonder if going back into buydebug also does it too. I seem to remember that happening in my game before.

Me too, for certain things. Bread (toasted) is my weakness followed by mashed potatoes and gravy. I could eat a mashed potato sandwich covered with gravy.

Are you talking the ghost couple? I've had that happen in a save that I've played before. I'm not sure if you can turn off ghosts or not.

Yes, the ghosts. I checked options and there's nothing for ghosts. It's actually night time but I was in edit mode so I had daytime turned on. Since they are close to the cemetery, I guess they were out for a midnight stroll. As long as they're not bugging anyone, they can stay.

I get the content could not be loaded from time to time. It means that you've taken content (store/custom content) out of your game. It sometimes will be replaced, if there's a item of equal value, if not then it won't be replaced.

To help prevent the computer or game shutting down in the middle of building/furnishing a home use Save As, give name. Quit the game and restart the game.

I usually do this and restart the computer every few or so hours to help refresh the computer.

My pet peeves are the aliens. I need to go through my retuner notes to see what I might be able to do with turning them off or as much as I can.

Content disappears.
You do some "housekeeping" then get the dreaded message that objects could not be loaded and have been replaced. Too bad it doesn't come with a list of those objects.

When your game shuts down just after you have finished replacing a bunch of objects that mysteriously disappeared and you didn't get a chance to save it.
