The camera is affected by trees and buildings that are in the way, as if it was actually an in-game object - the camera will jump over those objects, making it really difficult to hold a zoom still sometimes. Annoying as heck.

Nindigo, I'd probably use a word a but stronger than "heck". :D

MrsFlynn, the outside of the house is finished. Pix are on LaPaige's Porch I've had to take a few artistic liberties with the design in places where things wouldn't fit properly and some of the areas I couldn't see. But I'm happy with the way it turned out. Since I installed the Smooth Patch, I can't toggle between day/night but it looks like a lovely morning in New Riverview.

Today I'll work on the inside. I have some work-work to do today. I'm booking rail tickets for one of my neighbors who is going down to Portland for a few days when the border opens up but I have to research the protocols for re-entry into Canada. The man is 88 years old and instead of taking the train from here, he wants to drive down to Bellingham and take it from there. The man is blind as a bat, still drives and I'm worried about him driving down. It's only about a 45 min drive, but still... I need to make sure everything is in order for him. Sometimes I feel like a mother hen and feel like I want to go with him to make sure he's ok. I wish he would leave from here. I'd drive him to the station myself. :D

That's odd that you can't toggle between day and night with the Smooth Patch installed. That shouldn't be happening.

It's not that I can't toggle. I should have phrased that differently. What it's doing instead of going bright daylight, it's going to the in-game time, which in my current save is early morning.

Ah okay.

If I am remodeling a house in my play-save. I take it into a new-test save to get photos of the house.

I look forward to seeing what you do with the interior. :)

I normally do that but I must not have this time, for some reason.

Why do you move a house to a new save just to get photos of it? ???

If I am remodeling a house in my play-save and the lighting is too dark, I'll take it into a new-test (temporary) save to get photos so I have better lighting.

For me it's easier to see in the daylight than in darker photos. It's a matter of personal preference.

I'm not having a very productive Sim day. It dawned on my that the windows on the outside of my Purcell house are white, the insides are stained so I'm recoloring all the windows.  :o

This house is going to be darker inside that I'm used to because there are a lot of heavy pieces and all dark stain. Well...probably considered a medium stain but darker than I'm used to.

Productive otherwise. I cleaned my bathroom and did a load of laundry. :D

You don't have to go dark inside the house if you don't want to? If you're inspired to do lighter colors, go for it!!

Yay to being productive!! :)
