I'm currently visiting the home of the sims who have the cat. No one is home except the cat and she's waiting patiently outside. I just purchased a cat bag, a food dish and a cat tree for her.

Currently my festival lot is 60x60 with one warehouse type building on it. Would the WoW qualify as a festival venue?

I'm not sure if WoW qualifies as a festival lot. I've never tried to change lot type to Festival Grounds and place the WoW lot.

I have another question. I just discovered that when I created a household, I created the wife as a young adult but she was meant to be an elder. Is there anyway I can change her age? I've checked in Nraas but haven't seen where I can do that.

I tried a test with the WoW lot, at least placing it and changing it's lot type.

Looks like because the WoW lot is categorized as a Big Park lot type, it can't be placed on a Festival lot type.

I set the lot type to Visitors Allowed, so the lot can be placed. And then changed it's lot type again this time to Festival Grounds lot type.

However I don't think this will change with the seasons like the regular festival grounds do. As I don't think it's setup that way.

Interesting. I'll test it on Builder's Island to see if will change seasons. I have a half dozen things I need to be doing at this moment but I'm playing with my new cat Her name is Wonton and it appears she has no tail.

I have a feeling you'd need to edit the lot to add the Seasonal markers. Plus there maybe other things you need to do to make it change with the seasons like the regular festival lot does.
