One of my guys does too. He will stay out all night splashing in puddles if I let him. Having said that, the same could be said for one of my real life boys. :D

I don't mind it too much. After all, I'm still a kid at heart in real life. In fact, most people I know are :)

VJ just takes it to extremes sometimes. Miraj is family-oriented and likes kids. That is probably why he can stand him so well.

I am too. I am artistic at heart rather than an intellectual or any kind of academic. I guess I've never really grown up. My husband always said that he may be getting older but he's not growing up.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the Canadian (Vancouver) band called Trooper. One of their songs was "We're Here for a Good Time, Not a Long Time." That was kind of my husband's theme song, which unfortunately turned out to be self-fulfilling.

Well, I don't know our purpose for being here, but we do each decide how we approach life. I find it liberating and healing to play and dream regardless of my age. It is what has gotten me through very bad times and what I enjoy doing during good times as well. I don't know why humans bend over backwards to try and live for as long as possible. Most of all, I think it is the dismay at not being in control. Doing all kinds of things that promise a long life creates a comforting illusion of being somewhat in control. It will forever be an illusion though. We might as well acknowledge our mortality and simply enjoy what we can for as long as we can.

I suppose, yes. I have always been a deep thinker. It weighs me down sometimes, but I have a great solution at hand: The Sims :)

I'm back and forth between Sims and cross-stitch today. The cross-stitch is so small that I can only do about 30 mins at a time.

I imagine you need pointy eyes for something like that.

So, hubby and his (our) friend are down in the basement tonight watching a James Bond movie and later, the Super Bowl in our home theater. We had some take-away for dinner from a restaurant called Bones that serves American food. I'm just simming up here now in our tiny office area as usual :)
