However, how would you teach someone to drive that doesn't live with you?
If they are visiting, you can.

Most of the time they are quickly out the door by the time my Sims get back to their home lot.
You can always call them and invite them over.

I think what I'm worried about is if I ask them over to visit they won't stay long enough to try to teach to drive.  That's why I didn't pin the want.

Trying to do something with a Sim that's just visiting kind of seems impossible. They seem like they always need to go.

If they are good or best friends with your Sim, they will stay longer - sometimes, they won't leave at all. It also helps if the visitor has the inappropriate trait. Makes them stay inappropriately long.

Oh good point. I didn't think of that if they are good or best friends they may stay longer.

Didn't we used to have a "Questions" thread? Anyway, I have one. I did a quick search but didn't find what I was looking for.
I was "driving" through Riverview while in World Editor to see how my neighborhoods were looking and wondered if there was a way to turn off the blue icons. (sorry it's so dark).

I don't think there's a way to remove the blue icons. Though there might be via a mod. I don't know.

Even via Edit Town, there will still be icons when looking over the town.

I did check for mods but didn't see anything. Too bad.

Lapaige: Did you notice what time it was when you took the screenshot? Also, I'm curious - do you play with Seasons in that save?

It was daytime but it wasn't a Sim screenshot. It was a prt screen. According to MrsFlynn, it is dark because I have it on full screen. Yes, I play with seasons. I don't think I can disable any of the EPs so they're all on all the time. I can't do a sim screenshot in World Editor so I have to use prt screen.

Same view in-game and Sim screenshot. I was in Edit Town so no idea what time of day it was.

Thanks for the clarification. Funnily enough, my game has never been dark when in fullscreen. Oh, well... *shrugs*
I kinda like the lighting in the dark picture ;D
