A heads up sort of.

I don't recall which pack it comes with, but the plastic surgery feature seems to have a frustrating bug. If a Sim opts for corrective surgery after a failed plastic surgery, they come out of the hospital with a pudding face instead of their original appearance. I have not double checked, and I don't know if it happens to female Sims or even every male Sim. It happened to my VJ though, so went back to a previous save.

Oh Wow!! That's not cool!! Specially if it's a favorite Sim or one that you've put a lot of time and energy into creating.

It's simply a face where all slider values for facial features are set to 0. It's a -very- bland and generic face. Most Simmers who appreciate diverse genetics hate these indistinct faces with a passion, myself included :-\

I spent today and a little bit of last night building my family a new home with regular stairs to the basement and spiral staircase to the upstairs.  I moved them in, placed their furniture and whatnot, but still wasn't liking it.

Plus some of my favorite things didn't move with them. *Blush* They need to be manually packed when moving homes. -Derp- Those items being, flowers from Seasons, Death flower seeds and possibly some other things.

I figured Aria's paintings would get packed automatically due to them being not framed. They did arrive safely.

I did save them in the new home. Just in case I decided to go with it.  Then I went back a save to look at something.  Decided I like the original house better. I had to figure out how to add a spiral staircase to the upstairs.

Makes the 2nd bedroom a little smaller, but still workable.

I like the green wallpaper and dark brown wood. I'd probably make the doors and the staircase column dark brown as well, but that's just me - fond of darker colors here ;D

What do you use the basement for? I find I never really make use of basements, so I stopped including them.

It depends on what I'm doing. I mostly add them for more space. I used to build houses for Jude and then later Dee and they liked to have room for a big family.  Room for more bedrooms, skilling space, or sometimes an indoor garden. lol  Also for build requests over at Carl's. I ask if they'd like a basement and most say, sure.

I've got 2Bds/2Ba and some open space in the basement. I'm going to use the basement to place some nectar machines and make nectar. Maybe make a small cellar under the greenhouse to store the nectar in it. Not sure on that part. Last time I ended up selling the bottles after making them. While some are worth a couple hundred dollars right after they're made, it takes longer for them to mature and become worth upwards of $1000.

It just dawned on my why I dislike alpha CC - it's because it looks two dimensional like those old dress up dolls.

Like these clothes over at TSR: https://www.thesimsresource.com/scaled/2535/w-800h-600-2535435.jpg

Maybe it's because of good depth perception that alpha CC bothers some of us. Sims look very 3D to me, and I need their clothes to match that.

Where people with less good depth perception are not bothered so much.

Just a thought. *sips tea*

Great example!! I don't care for clothes, hair or objects that look that plastic-y.  Definitely looks like paper doll-ish.
