I tried to get a picture of my display cabinet because my lamp was refracting rainbow onto the glass inside it but I kept getting in my own shadow and couldn't get a good shot. I didn't check for dust before taking the photo. :D

The cabinet is blue.

It really does look pretty. The colors remind me that I wanted to say that I enjoy vintage style too. It doesn't look dusty at all. Perhaps the blue color of the cabinet is better at camouflaging it than dark wood or even black surfaces :)

Our interior could use some TLC to be honest. If only it was as easy as in The Sims. Yes, I mean to say that 'motherlode' doesn't work in real life. Sometimes, I catch myself thinking in a grid pattern when looking around. Hubby has suggested I try and design a room or something in The Sims and then we could try and work towards it in real life. I guess so.

My first priority for our livingroom would be some curtains in addition to the blinds, and some carpets for a cozy feel.

Thank you. I love designing and decorating. I'd say that was pretty obvious from all the CC I put into my builds. I've gone from a near 3000 sq ft house to an 800 sq ft condo so my decorating urges have had to be severely contained. I'm limited now to small glass pieces.
I don't have any window coverings at all in my living room and only sheers in the bedroom. It's very hard to see into my place.

Hmm, where did my Little Corsican Bistro thread go?

Anyway, I made creamy pumpkin soup today and am thoroughly exhausted. Had to use a sledgehammer to knock the knife through the (Hokkaido) pumpkin. Removing the peel was really hard on my fingers, hands and arms, BUT - the end result is super delicious and there is enough for tomorrow as well! It was a recipe I found in a pamphlet which I grabbed from a magazine. 14 autumn recipes left to try :P

Moved it to the Sunroom Board. A link to it can be found here.  I don't mind you talking about what you made here in Sipping Tea. :)

Thanks and great! :)

I don't cook very often, mostly my hubby does it. It feels good to have made a dish successfully. My grandmother was an amazing natural cook, and I always loved her food and baked goods. Can't help but hold myself to her standards ;D

I've been looking at these in the back yard from my balcony for the last few days and decided I need to go and get a closer look. It's the middle of October and they are still blooming furiously.

Beautiful Rosebushes!!  I think it's because it's still fairly warm out that plants are still blooming and doing their thing.

It seems unseasonably warm for this time of year?
