We're making up for a lousy spring and early summer. This year's heat wave wasn't terrible and this late summer/early fall has been perfect.

It's typical fall weather here as well. Although, perhaps not quite as cold as it might have been a few decades back. I've noticed that things like warm and stormy weathers now come in short bursts here instead of being more evenly spread across the season. Also, thunder seems to become more and more rare. The first half of this year was super dry in Denmark. Snow is also becoming less.

Where I grew up, thunder was almost a daily occurrance in the summer but here on the west coast, thunder storms are rare. I don't recall hearing any thunder at all in the last couple of years.

We might have had a little rumble earlier this year, but yeah I agree it's fewer and farther between for thunder and lighting. I'm thankful for that, because I could the boom of the thunder and lighting shakes the house and spooks me almost every time!!

Well, my old Origin has made itself unavailable meaning that I am now forced to use the new Origin app.

The Sims 3 is running just fine through it.

It's 2:30 in the morning here but I'll have tea and cookies. A danged fire truck woke me up. It stopped nearby so I had to go out to the elevator corridor and look out the window to see if it was coming here. We are one of 3 buildings full of old or sick people so it's not uncommon.

The fire/paramedics are our first responders so just because a fire truck is out there doesn't mean there's a fire or we'd have alarms going off. A bunch of us were sitting downstairs last night and 3 policemen came in and went up the elvator. Of course we were dying of curiosity but had no way of knowing where they were going.

That's good that Sims 3 still works!! :)

Last I read (Friday. Oct.20th) they were still trying to work out the bugs as some still can't get Sims 3 packs to download/install.

I was chatting with Missyzim the other day and she was having some problems too. She said she's going to switch from Origin to Steam.

Getting back into Minecraft after several years away is rather daunting :(

The other day my grandson was showing me a build he was doing in Minecraft. I was amazed! He had done the Disneyland railroad station.
