Build Challenge ~ Livin' in the Tropics

It's not really geared for attic space because I've kept the roofline low. The house itself is fine but the kids' bedrooms are pretty tiny. Mind you, they have the world's best playground at their doorstep so they don't need to sped a lot of time in their rooms.
Before I finish furnishing it I might see if I can make some adjustments without messing up the roof too badly. ... or not.

I am done! This was pretty ambitious for me due to vision issues (the thumbnails are soooo small!), and a new medication (fatigue inducing), so it was a bit of a struggle. Not my best effort but this is my first real build since my stroke.
But I'm looking forward to moving my McDermitt family in and see how they like it.
In the book series this is based on, the house is built on stilts so I went with that.

You did a wonderful job!! The size of the kids' rooms looks great!! The rooms have enough space for a double bed and extra room to each side for a dresser and desk.

I haven't forgotten this challenge. I was just stumped while trying to pick out patterns for some of the furniture. *Blush* But came up with something and ran with it. lol
