I did some work on the house today, but didn't take photos. *Blush*  To be fair, it was early this morning that I was picking out windows, internal wall coverings and figuring out what flooring to go with.

Alrighty, here's a few more progress photos. I'm almost finished with the unfurnished version of the house. lol Needs a little landscaping in the front.

Looking good! I like the attic. I had left room in mine for the possibility of placing stairs to an attic but then I furnished it and suddenly have no room.

Looking at your floorplan, I see a cute little corner spot that might have room for a ladder?



The left corner just after the front bedroom, in the hallway? -- That idea just came to me as I was re-looking at your screenshot.

I really like your floorplan!!  It looks a little bigger than mine. But it also looks like you went to the edge of the lot on a couple of sides.

No, I don't think I'd do a ladder. That's not realistic to me. I did have a staircase over the basement stairs. I took it out because my roof wasn't high enough to create attic space. I could raise the roof a little though I don't like them too high. I'll take another look to see what's feasible.

I completely understand not wanting to raise the roof to high, specially if you've got a look you're going for.

I popped in some stairs to the attic where I had them in the first place and didn't have to rearrange a thing.
Then I popped some dormers in the attic and I have a nice little den and bathroom up there. Now I have what's known in the trade, a storey and a half. Pop, pop, pop.

A house with attic space or room could be considered 1 1/2 story house? 

I feel like I kinda knew that, but wasn't for sure. It's been awhile since I've heard/read that.
