I went live today to test something and it seems my sims are cloning themselves. It was pretty funny seeing 2 of them face to face having a chat.

I had this happen, back in 2012. I can't remember exactly how I got rid of the duplicate Sim. After I did though I did clean up my in-game library, as that's where the game can sometimes take Sims from.

It's been said you shouldn't use testingcheatsenabled on and delete Sims, or use Delete Object on them as it could cause save file corruption. It only deletes their bodies, not that data inside the game.

The best way, according to Nraas is to use MasterController Total Annihilation. And remove the Sim(s) from the library.

Click on Mapview > City Hall > Nraas > MasterController > Town > Total Annihilation > X -- From the list of Townies, find the Sim you're wanting to to remove.

I think I know how it happened. It might have had something to do with copying or moving their house to a different location without evicting them. I've had another sim meet his clone in the spa one day. I just delete them from the library when that happens.

What was funny is that I just randomly chose the elders, Mavis and Bob to go into live mode. Bob was home and Mavis was at the spa chatting with her clone. But alternate Bob was there too. So I checked to see where the real Bob was and he was at home having a party and flirting with one of the younger women. The real Mavis showed up and pitched a little fit. LOL

I have other things to try and fix before worrying about what my sims are doing while I'm not paying attention. I'm just discovering that some of my builds are missing objects that were in that bunch of CC I lost when I accidently deleted it all.

I have other real life stuff to do that I'm ignoring.

We have between 5 and 6 degrees fahrenheit here today. And a decent amount of snow too. Don't feel like going outside much :-\

Hot tea, cookies, and The Sims improve the mood though. Except I have no cookies - wah.

We're -2 celsius which is getting chilling for us but it's supposed to go much lower in the next few days. After several days of rain, most of the snow we had is gone.

I have cookies. I'll share.

It's -1 here at the moment (for my US friends, 0 is freezing) but our humidity is extremely high. Where I grew up it was much colder but drier. Because if the humidity here I think it feels much colder because it goes right through you.

It's upper 30s early 40s for daytime highs and lows will be mid 30s (near freezing). We'll be getting cooler in the next few days with a possible low land snow.

I do agree hot tea, cookies and the Sims do improve the mood!! :)
