I created this forum because I wanted a special space to share and play Sims with friends, share projects, notes, how-tos, builds, Sims and other stuff I've created.
I've wanted to do something like this for quite some time - like years, but never could think of the right platform to help make it work. I wanted something not overly complicated and something that I could have confidence in running and taking care of.
After a long time thinking about it, I felt a forum would suit that well, as I am familiar with SMF software. It allows me to share, all members to be notified of boards and posts if desired, a place for all of us to share photos and chat even though I am not always really chatty. lol.
Membership isn't required to view images and download any of the files shared on the forum.
I do hope you enjoy what is shared. If you want to collaborate on a build with me, please do pm me and we can work out the details.
So... the burning question of why the name. lol. Well, I've always liked the word Tacky for some reason and have come to embrace my inner tackiness. I see it as being a let's say a unique person. *Big Smile*
