Wilsonoff Community Theatre
« on: February 11, 2021, 11:34:38 AM »
Some of us enjoy watching others play The Sims. Maybe you are looking for entertainment/inspiration too sometimes?

Currently, I enjoy watching a family-player on YouTube. His channel is called Cjplays and I'm binging his Nightmare Legacy playlist.

All people linked to on here are family friendly, as best as I can tell.

Sounds interesting. I also like to see how some people play.
Unfortunately I have real life things I need to be doing today but I'll check those out later.

Thank you for sharing these Nindigo.

I'm always looking for Sims 3 Youtubers. Though I'll have to go through my notes to see who's links I have. Some have speed building videos, which I'm finding I can't really watch. Makes me too dizzy.

The speed builds make me dizzy too.
I hadn't watched any Sim's You Tube players but I use to watch quite a few when I was playing Rollercoaster Tycoon. I was pretty impressed with their builds.

I pause the video and then use the arrow keys to slowly progress if I'm trying to build something. Maybe doing that will help you guys as well?

I never thought of pausing the video and using the arrow keys to slowly progress the video. That's a great idea!! :)

I don't mind watching/listening to simmers on youtube, but if a lady has a high pitched voice, it is very difficult for me to hear her b/c I'm hard of hearing. Sometimes my hearing aids help, but not always.

Sonshine, just disable the video sound then by clicking on the little speaker icon. Personally, I don't need to listen to the human in the video.

MrsFlynn, I'm glad to help <3

Sometimes the human in the video can be quite annoying. :D

This is true sometimes. However, sometimes I want to hear what the human is saying in explaining their moves, lol There are some videos that I watch (not sims) where I have to slow the speech down to about 75%. There is one commentator guy who talks soooooo very fast! When I slow his video down, he sounds  normal, lol
