   ✽ Information About Shared Files:

I am offering my Sims and Lots as zipped files. As they are in .package format for cleaner and easier install. Plus you don't have to fuss with the Sims 3 launcher!!   

  – For convenience purposes, I have added direct download links to each of my build posts.

In the zipped files you should see the .package file, screenshots and an info (text) file about the Lot or Sim.

Sims will need to be placed in your Sims 3\SavedSims folder:
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims



Lots will need to be placed in your Sims 3 Library folder:
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library



The package files go into the mods/packages folder.
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages



         
   ✽ Saving Files and Unzipping Them:

How-to save the files:
Click on the file and select Save File. It's suggested to save to desktop and unzip it there.



    ~ How-to extract the file:

Extract the file with 7-Zip - https://www.7-zip.org/
Right-click File ➺ 7-zip ➺ Extract to (Name of File)
 – This extracts everything into a folder with the name file.

    ~ Alternative methods:

Open File Explorer and find the zipped folder.

To unzip the entire folder, right-click to select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

To unzip a single file or folder, double-click the zipped folder to open it. Then, drag or copy the item from the zipped folder to a new location.

   ✽ Note About Shared Sims:

Any and all Sims shared on this board Media Room > Sims are allowed to be downloaded and used as desired.

Please consider them being created from CAS (Create A Sim), unless otherwise noted. They are shared with no skills or family relation.

They are usually shared in the .Sim or .package format

.sim files are to be copied to the SavedSims folder
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims
and can be found by entering CAS > Premade Sims

.package files are to be copied to the Library folder
\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library
and can be found in the Show Households Library tab in-game.

   ⭐ Sims shared are not related to any townies in any towns even if they have the same last name. Unless otherwise noted on their post.

   ✽ Issues with Downloads:

Click on the file link to Save any file.  If the browser you're using doesn't allow you to download because it's telling you that it's unsecured, please try another browser or check your browser's security settings.  For reference, I use Firefox.
