I've only ever used Nraas SP once and that was years ago. I don't remember much from it, but the thought of adding it to my game now just is overwhelming. It's still as resource heavy, there's tons of options. And when it boils down I'd probably want most of it shut off anyway. As I usually only focus on my one active family. I'm kind of a boring Sims player. lol

Lapaige, you can load a save to edit town and then select a lot to build on. That's how I usually build my houses and community lots. I just find it easier to do that than have to worry about moving Sims around the lot or using up all their money.

Report"

That's what I typically do but it means that it's been saved on an active sim and when I'm in edit town there's a not on top to return to game. I was thinking of loading a new game completely and never setting up a household but just building on it and safe the builds.
Today I'm going to start my game with my active sim and send her to the old mill to see if it's actually working.

Edited to add: The wheel is turning and the water is all flowing down to the river through my newly built channels. Whoo-hoo! Oops...I mean Yay!

I am happy to hear the water wheel is working on the old mill property!! :)

Definitely try loading a new save without an active Sim to see how that works for you. I find it easier to build, furnish and decorate that way.

It makes it harder to set the home up for playing in, but to me that's what a play-save is for. lol

Yay!! Hmm.. Won't moving him in with Yasmine kind of confuse the kids?

Clone VJ got the midlife crisis wish to move out. I accommodated this by moving him in with family friend Yasmine and her two kids.

That last photo of Phoenix holding Vince and picking his nose?! It looks like VJ is laughing at them? I've never seen that happen in-game. At least the teens and above do that. Toddler seem to do that quite often. lol

Another lucky shot.

Sunset and a full moon over Riverview.

Just lucky again. I've never seen the moon before. I was quite surprised.

Oh, MrsFlynn. He isn't picking his nose. If you look closely, there is smoke coming from Phoenix' hand. But I thought it safest to censor the coffin nail he is holding and the little packages on the counters. Vince the toddler had a need (or several) in the low, and that is something evil VJ can't help but celebrate - other people's misery, including that of his own kids. I just thought it would be fitting for him to also enjoy seeing his kid in a cloud of smoke...because he is that evil.

I think Yasmine appreciates the lack of evil and inappropriateness in Clone VJ. He is still vain (I call snob that in TS3) and childlike. Other than that he is smart, kindhearted and polite. Down the road, I think he is better for her - MUCH better for her. I can make him look more "bad" if you prefer. Just keep in mind that he is a politician. He has to pay some attention to his "approachability" ;D

I will take a look at the guide for building through foundations. The creators of the towns have done it avidly, so it must be doable.

And pretty pictures again, LaPaige. The vanilla moon is actually very nice. You should look up more in-game ;D

Ah okay. I was wondering what the blocks were in the photo. lol

Nah we (Yasmine and I) like clone VJ just fine. He looks handsome in his glasses. :)

Hope the howto is easy to read and understand. If it's not, please let me know. I'll do my best to help.
