It was a nice evening with several of us from the complex. We went outside for a few minutes to look at his beautiful back yard and it wasn't until I got home that I realized that in that few minutes I'd become a mosquito banquet. I'm covered in bites. Thank goodness I have Benedryl.

Those squitos will getcha when out for any length of time in the evening. They -love- me. Since I started using Peppermint oil they tend to stay away. lol

What do you do with the peppermint oil? I think I have some.

I have a few uses for it. I like using it as perfume. Dropper some on a tissue and put on my wrist. I also have some in a 2 oz spritzer bottle. I put 8-10 dropper squirts into the bottle and fill rest of the bottle with warm water. Shake before each use.

Taking a small break from The Sims and playing Skyrim Special Edition which has been another favorite game of mine for many years.

It came over me after watching Gamer-Grandma Shirley play on YouTube. Skyrim SE is her favorite game as well.

I've been driving myself a little crazy over the last couple-few days. It's been so warm that I haven't opened Sims 3. As I don't want to set my laptop on fire. Okay, so it won't do that, but poor thing even with it's turbo fan on it still gets pretty warm. Though not hot like my last laptop did.

You aren't suppose to be able to fry an egg with your laptop... Or are you?! lol .... Sorry couldn't resist.

We're in the hopefully last day or two of the nastiest and record breaking heat waves our area has seen.

It's going to feel downright balmy by Wed. I had a large fan next to my bed and a smaller one on my dresser. Then I had a cool shower and went to bed with wet hair. I slept really well. Stay hydrated.

We've got a few large fans scattered around the house to try to help keep things cooler. Tried a cool shower, it helped for a little bit. Thinking I might try the hand towel dipped in cool water and draped over the shoulders tip. lol

Yep, drinking lots of water.
