I noticed last night as I was going through my mods that I had two gardening mods that were conflicting with each other.

- Twoftmama Faster Gardening v5.package
- No_Plant_Crying.package

Due to them using same or similar code. I've removed No Plant Crying and am testing the Faster Gardening. I am hoping that it already has the no crying when Sim comes across a dead plant. If that's the case then I don't need the no plant crying mod anymore.

Here is what you do when you get sick and tired of adults putting toddlers to bed without tending to their other needs:

Oh, and you remove the high chair too, so that toddlers are fed on the floor instead. Saves a lot of time and frustration!

I feel silly for saying this but I've never seen the point to the highchairs in Sims 3.  Every time my Sim has a want for a highchair I cancel it or don't pin it because it's like feed your toddler. Saves you (the Sim) and me (the player) time and frustration. lol

Love the little sleeping mats for toddlers. Those are cute!!

I'm still testing out the new gardening mod to see if it helps stop the crying over dead plants. The jury is still out on if it helps or not.

It's not helping that I got distracted by rebuilding the house I'm playing with... to add a basement.  *Blush* Tried to use ConstrainFloorElevation True/False to add the basement stairs and it just wouldn't work. I'm thinking more so because I didn't want to remove the roof of the particular house.

After rebuilding, I'll be back to testing out the gardening mod. :)

I think that meals (not a bottle) served in a highchair will keep the toddler full for longer, but I'm not sure about it.

I've discovered another point of frustration when it comes to highchairs; if there is also a food processor in the house, Sims that are tripping over each other to feed the toddler in the highchair will process leftover food with it and leave the unused babyfood servings around the house from where they cannot be used anymore. You can only clean up these surplus servings which in turn will give Sims a negative moodlet for throwing away good food. Because the toddler servings don't ever spoil.

So yeah, out with the highchairs!

The gardening mod - Twoftmama Faster Gardening v5.package stops the crying over dead plants!!

It took me what felt like forever to see if this mod worked like I had hoped it would. And it does!!

I left the dead plants where they were for a few days to see what would happen, and nothing really happened other than she'd look at them and a thought bubble would pop over her head of a stick plant showing that she was thinking about the dead plants, but no crying over them!! :)

Whoot!!

The crying only happens in my game when they throw out the dead plants - can you confirm this mod also stops that?

I haven't thrown out the plants yet. When I'm in-game next I'll see what happens. :)

I jumped in game to check to see if there would be crying when cleaning up dead plants and there wasn't. Though she did have a thought bubble about the dead plants.

Thank you for sharing the link to a building tutorial on building Victorian houses, Lapaige.  It looks like it offers some tips on roofing too. :)

You're welcome. I just checked out her lots and I'm about to d/l some of them, something I've never done before but I've run out of ideas for Victorians and other vintage styles.
I know some of you are into paranormal and there are a few really spooky lots. And beach lots, and, and, and...

And more Victorian ideas.

And still frustrated because I can't find exterior trim for Sims 3 but S2/S4 had some. I'm exhausted searching.
