Experiencing a "Ghost" house again. I've mentioned that I replaced the blue Victorian on the hill with the Carolina house. Initially I was getting a ghost of the old house when I was in Edit Town. It eventually stopped but now after many weeks I'm getting it again. So strange. I fixed it by saving the house, then deleting the one on the lot. I shut the game down, cleared all the caches, then loaded the game up again. It was weird how it started doing that again after all this time. I didn't think to check to see if it happened elsewhere in town.

That sounds familiar.

I've had something similar happen in my game too.  Go to Edit town and you see a ghost of the house that was previously there. Zoom into that spot and your actual current build is there, but doesn't show correctly in Edit Town.

You could just load the save and the ghost house be there. Not sure what causes it or fixes it. It does often fix itself.

As I said, I just saved and replaced it. It's fine now...for the moment... :D

My sim is a contortionist. Not only is he making waffles outside, but he's doing it backwards. Clever fellow!

I've seen that happen before. It's a glitch that happens from time to time in the animation sequence. Stopping what the Sim is doing and queue back up usually fixes it.

I was moving them into their new house but they couldn't get in. I tried moving them to a different house and they couldn't get in there either. I tried a different sim in their new house and she couldn't go it.
I replaced the front steps and now they're in. :D Dumb game.  ::)

That's odd that the Sims couldn't use the stairs to get into their house. Luckily it was an easy fix.  Was the terrain or foundation of the house edited?  That might have been what caused it?

Have you checked any of your other houses to make sure they won't have the same problem?

I did try them in a different house and had the same problem so I'll check on that later with another sim.

I've been busy trying to complete my Charleston house today. I'm not feeling great, bit of a sore throat, headache and slightly achy. I did a self test and came up neg for Covid but I'll check again tomorrow. One of my friends here had a bad fall the other night and is in the hospital. I was going to go and see her but that's off the table as long as I feel germy.

I'm ready to post my Charleston house. Stand by. :)
