I'm still around. Went to work on my house last night to the game crashing twice last night. I haven't had this much trouble with game crashing in a long time.  The only thing I can think of is it has to do with the CC I'm trying to use for the build I'm working on. I took out the piece (a desk) I last installed. That seemed to work for a bit... until it crashed again. I then thought well I'll take out the last few pieces (end table, kitchen table and hutch) I added before.

I replaced items that were missing with base game items. I didn't get to test much after that as I was falling asleep at the keyboard. hehehe. Saved both the house to library and the game. Will test some more later.  If all else fails I may just take out all the CC I've used with this build and replace with game items and call it good.

Showing some love too.

I'm so exhausted these days, I can't concentrate on anything. The pains are still really bad, and our puppy requires most of what little energy I have. I'm also kind of depressed, probably from all of the above.

I have been playing a bit of Star Wars: The Old Republic after I lost interest in Crusader Kings III. But I'm now wanting to return to The Sims 3, however, I need a little runup.

I've seen the town shown, but only in screenshots.  My guess is EA made it to be a promotional town but never shared it. Though I do remember reading where someone was trying to re-create it in CAW at one point.

I have a feeling, with the other screenshots they were digitally edited with a photo editor or taken with Reshade or something along those lines.

My guess is it's either an early version of Sunset Valley, and they rearranged things before release, or its one of the creator's CAW worlds. I've never seen it before. I love some of those screenshots though. Here are a couple of my favorites.

I think Mrs. Flynn is right about the screenshots, they seem too good to be true or have poses I haven't seen in the game. I do keep a collection of my favorite screenshots that I've taken in game, though. Here are are a few.

Ah yes, thank you for the reminder that they - whoever took the screenshots may have used pose mods I think they're called.

Added to the mix is graphics settings and graphics cards too. I don't do anything special with my screenshots and have a mix of medium and high settings. I feel like my previous computer was able to take better screenshots. Not sure how to explain it. There's just something different.

I saw this too! I really learned a lot about game theory from him. And I had never thought about how each iteration had a different focus. I never played Sims 1 or Sims 2, but I've watch some Let's Plays of Sims 2 and it had it's own charm. It makes Sims 4 that much more of a disappointment.

What are your thoughts on Life by You and Paralives? Do those interest you? I'm looking forward to seeing what they are like. I suspect Sims 3 will remain my go-to game though. It's hard to imagine anything better unless it's just as quirky but runs better.
